It's like space food, but unhealthy. It's tasty and yummy, but unhealthy. It's tempting and addicting, and still unhealthy.
I quit fast foods at around 16 years old. When you take into account all the calories in that tiny burger, it's not so delicious anymore.
Some people learn healthy eating habits from the beginning, others never do.
Right now it's time for you to re-evaluate your eating habits. The foods you eat, the way you eat, the amounts you eat, it all affects how you feel and think.
Your decisions are largely dependent on your mood and emotion. Sad people buy stuff. Depressed people buy ton loads of stuff. Same as eating, the more anxious, sad, or depressed you feel, the more you eat.
You get unnecessary cravings to stock up on food. Perhaps because if we were living with our ancestors, the negative feelings would be correlated with struggle to survive, or exclusion from the tribe. This leads you to feeling eager for more resources, something you might not need in today's society.
You walk around the supermarket and you see cheap foods which come from artificial manufacturing. Ready-made plastic noodles. Recycled rubber candy and chewing gum. A rainbow of fake colors to imitate nutrient rich foods.
Your brain is being tricked. You are being tricked. Companies and marketing agencies use messages and symbols to control your intuition. They want your money for unnecessary resources.
But you have the upper hand. You can control your intuition, your gut feelings.
