I'm going to sleep. I'm going to sleep because I've been working too much. I don't feel like writing a blog post today. Maybe I'll do it tomorrow. I don't even have time to come up with a title for today's post, so I left it as it's default.
It's 10:57pm and I've been laying on the floor for the past few minutes trying to come up with an idea to write about, but nothing. Sleep is important. I'm going to sleep.
But before I do, here's some quick conclusions from research on sleep:
1. Not enough sleep makes you fat.
Sleep helps maintain a healthy balance of the hormones that make you feel hungry (ghrelin) or full (leptin). When you don't get enough sleep, your level of ghrelin goes up and your level of leptin goes down. This makes you feel hungrier than when you're well-rested. - National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute.
2. Not enough sleep ruins your relationships.
Resilience to stress, emotional regulation, and inter-personal relationships are impaired by sleep deficiency. - Michael Twery

Goodnight and sleep well my friends.
