Being nice ruins your life. It brings a negative aura to your life. Your relationships suffer, you lose the beauty of life, and your communication becomes sour.
When you are nice, you feel as if you're taken advantage of. In a way, you are. If you give more than you can afford; when you get so caught up on other people's dreams, that you forget your own.
You start to feel as if your niceness is actually hindering your future. You focus more on other's to-do list, and yours gets buried away till the end of the day, when you have run out of energy.
But you're not a bad person. You don't want others to see you as self-absorbed and selfish.
You must develop goodwill.
Focus on striving for your own goals. The more you achieve, the more you can help others.
Lend a hand out to those whom you can help. Give without expectation of something in return. Even if you don't have much to give, a smile and a compliment is priceless.
Develop abundance in your life and give when you have surplus.
Be good my friends.
