Leadership consists of understanding where people want to go. Offering hope and the belief that you can lead them there. And being at the forefront to reach the goal.
Here's what you'll need to do
1. Understand Where People Want To Go.
To be a leader you must know what drives your people. What are their desires, what lures them. What experiences do they value and what do they find appealing. If you want people to follow you, you must take them somewhere they can call paradise.
2. Offer Hope And Leadership.
Once you know their desires, you offer hope that what they want is possible. Let them know that you can take them where they hope to find their riches. People are compelled by big dreams and novelties. Things they haven't experienced before but they would love to try.
3. Assume Leadership.
Once you have an entourage of willing people you must take them where you promised. You get to coordinate the route. You take on the major decisions and responsibility. You are at the forefront to combat any obstacle that gets in the way.
Being a leader is a great challenge as well as a great confidence boosting experience. Being able to lead a group of people, no matter how big or small, gives you the alpha status in your tribe.
